Wan Shahida Wan Ismail, widely recognized as Teacher Sha, specializes in English language proficiency and communication skills among non-native speakers.Holding an M.A. in English Language Studies from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Teacher Sha launched her career as a professional trainer by earning the HRDF Train-the-Trainer Certification. Her skills were enhanced with a certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, deepening her ability to connect with learners and deliver impactful training.Since 2005, Teacher Sha’s extensive corporate training portfolio includes sessions with renowned organisations such as ExxonMobil Exploration, Petronas, KWSP, MBSB Bank, PWTC, Honda Manufacturing, as well as Sime Darby Guthrie Malaysia and Indonesia. Her workshops and training sessions have addressed critical skills like workplace communication, grammar mastery, and effective business writing.Building on her expertise, she earned accreditation as a Certified Teacher by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Princeton US, specializing in TOEFL and TOEIC preparation courses. In collaboration with Test Center Malaysia, she has been delivering comprehensive educator training on internationally recognized assessments, i.e. TOEFL and TOEIC, equipping educators with the tools and methodologies needed to guide their students effectively in mastering the assessments.This year (2025), Teacher Sha embarks on a new frontier with Test Center Malaysia by providing classes (for educators and students) to prepare for the VERSANT English Placement Test by Pearson, thus broadening her expertise in advanced language assessment tools and reinforcing her commitment to elevating the standards of English education across diverse contexts.In addition to her educator-focused initiatives, Teacher Sha has made significant contributions to student-focused programmes. She has successfully conducted one-to-one TOEFL iBT preparation sessions for MARA and JPA scholars, helping students achieve their goals for overseas university admissions and scholarships.
